Legacy Dance Center prides ourselves on our talented and experienced teaching staff. From professional ballerinas, degreed dancers and professionals currently working and choreographing in the industry, L.D.C. is absolutely Frisco's Professional Dance Training Facility!  

Libbie Jagger Reed began her dance training as a toddler taking creative movement in Colorado Springs, CO.  She later studied at the Fort Worth School of Ballet under Nanette Glushak and Michel Rahn. She was invited to study at prestigious ballet schools including New York City Ballet’s School of American Ballet (SAB) in NYC. She also studied at Pacific Northwest Ballet School in Seattle, WA., and was offered scholarships to San Francisco Ballet School, Rock School of Pennsylvania Ballet, and Joffrey Ballet among others.

 Ms. Reed is a Cum-Laude graduate from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Ballet where she was selected by Artist-in-Residence Fernando Bujones, to perform as a soloist.  While earning her degree she began her career as a dance instructor, award winning choreographer, and performing professionally for American Spirit Dancers throughout Spain, France and the United States.


After her graduation from TCU, Libbie cheered with the world famous Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and was invited as a Rookie to be a member of the elite Show Group performing at various national and international events including USO/DOD tours to Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, The Persian Gulf, Germany, and South Korea.  She was also selected to teach young dancers and cheerleaders at the popular Camp DCC summer program.

After Cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, Libbie was selected for the New Jersey Nets NBA dance team. She also performed professionally in New York City with the New York Motion Entertainment Company.
Her television appearances include:  MTV’s Sports Anthems Countdown, MTV’s The Low Down-NBA dancers, The Today Show, Extra!, Good Morning Texas, Good Day Dallas, ESPN’s Making of the Dallas Cowboys Swimsuit Calendar. Libbie has also been a featured performer with Ricky Martin, Randy Travis, Jay Leno and Willie Nelson.  Her Industrial work includes: Bally’s Sports Clubs, Girbaud, Everlast Sportswear, Houlihan’s Restaurants, Brighton, Southwestern Bell, National Sporting Goods Association, Excel, Business Travelers Association, Southwest Airlines, L’Oreal Cosmetics, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Coca-Cola and Home Interiors.
Libbie and her husband Ashley reside in Frisco, TX with their two young children.

Emily Matkin Scoville began her training at age three and has been trained in tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop and drill team.

As a member of the nationally acclaimed MA Dance staff, Emily has taught and choreographed for college and high school dance teams throughout the United States. She has also been a member of the University of North Texas Dance Team.   


Emily has choreographed for the World Famous Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and has recently been featured in Carrie Underwood's music video for hit single "Cowboy Casanova", the 2010 CMA Video of the Year.


Emily was one of the original Dallas Desperados Dancers for the Dallas Cowboys’ Arena Football team where she rose to the top ranks quickly as both a team captain and choreographer. As a DDD, she performed at Ft. Hood’s largest celebrity concert celebrating the troops and their families. Emily had the very special opportunity to visit Sydney, Australia with five other Desperados Dancers upon the invitation of the AFL to perform and teach cheer and dance camps.     
 

After three years as a member of the DDD, Emily continued to work closely with the organization as a professional choreographer for the Dancers and co-director of the Desperados’ co-ed, teen, hip-hop team the “Desperados Young Gunz” where she choreographed and managed the young dancers’ field routines and stage appearances.  

She continued to dance professionally with Chris and Candy Productions in National Tours with Body Art Ball and in Moulin Rouge.

Emily currently directs and choreographs the very popular Dallas Vigilantes Dancers for the Arena Football League performing at the American Airlines Center. 

Her easy-going style coupled with her sense of humor, talent and experience combine to make her a winning dance teacher for all ages. Emily co-directs the Frisco Roughriders Junior Diamond Dancers and directs the 2009 LDC Showgroup Minis and Juniors. 

Megan Fox began her dance studies at the age of five and started dancing competitively at the age of nine with her dance company. She was a member of the World Famous Kilgore College Rangerettes. Megan was a swingster and served as Left End Lieutenant her sophomore year.  Performances included the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Cotton Bowl, the Marshall Field’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and the Indianapolis 500.    

At the conclusion of her sophomore year she auditioned and was selected for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.  She was a member of the squad and the elite DCC Show-Group for four years.  Megan was honored by the DCC Staff when she was chosen to be a group leader for two years.  

Megan has performed with many A-list celebrities including Destiny’s Child; Big and Rich; Neil McCoy; Sheryl Crow; Jason Aldean; Carrie Underwood; and Kelly Clarkson. She has performed in Northern Europe, South Korea, Guantanamo Bay, Puerto Rico, Kuwait, Iraq and Japan.

Megan was selected as the DCC representative for the 2007 Pro Bowl in Hawaii where she performed and appeared on behalf of the Dallas Cowboys Organization.

Megan’s television appearances include Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders – Making the Team (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 & 2009); Queer Eye for the Straight Guy; FOX News with Sheppard Smith; Making of the Swimsuit Calendar 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007; NFL Thanksgiving Day Halftime National Performance 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and Inside Edition, Good Morning Texas, and House Hunters in addition to various commercials. Megan's most recent television appearances include Dancing with the Stars and Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader? and Fox & Friends morning news broadcast.                                                                                                         

Megan has taught dance and drill team camps as a staff member for Starmakers Dance and Drill Team Company; Rangerette Summer Camps; and Camp DCC. She was recently the Youth Programs Coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and the DCC Assistant Choreographer.      

Legacy Dance Center is thrilled to have Megan on staff working with the young dancers who absolutely love her!


Justine Phillips Orf
is in her tenth year of teaching all styles of dance. Her Award Winning Choreography at National dance competitions in addition to her positive demeanor with her young students has made her a sought after dance instructor. Her choreography has also been featured on local Drill Teams and has been featured at the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders' Camp DCC Program. 
 

In addition to performing as a member of the nationally acclaimed Dallas Mavericks Dancers from 2002-2005, Justine's professional highlights include appearing in a Chuck E. Cheese Christmas Video; performing as a back-up dancer at the 2004 Jingle Ball in NYC, Madison Square Garden and being featured in a Planet Tan Commercial. Justine also appeared in commercials for the Dale Hansen Sports Show.  

Justine recently completed her fifth year with the world famous Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Selected as a member of the DCC's elite Show Group, Justine has traveled around the world performing in places such as Kuwait, Iraq, South Korea, Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. Justine was also featured as a Dancer in the Tekken Motion Picture. She and her husband Tony have a puppy named Phoenix. 



Taylor Hulitt
has trained in tap, jazz, and ballet. She was chosen as the Captain of the Dixie Belles dance/drill team in her senior year.

She was part of the Dance and Kick Academy at HTE dance camps and was selected as an Outstanding Dancer and All-American Dancer at American Drill Team School dance camps.

 

Taylor was cast as an opening performer at the Neiman Marcus Adolphus Christmas Parade. She has been the choreographer and college assistant for the Arlington ISD dance camp and has also taught dance camps at the Birdville ISD schools.

Taylor’s choreography has also been seen on the Richland High School Dixie Belles officer line.

 

She was chosen as a 2006-2007 Fort Worth Fly Girl Dancer for the National Basketball Developmental League and has made numerous appearances and performances throughout Dallas and Fort Worth to promote the team.

 

Taylor was selected through a rigorous audition process to be a Dallas Desperados Dancer performing all season at American Airlines Center. As a Dallas Desperados Dancer, Taylor had the distinction of being the only rookie chosen to perform on the hit TV show “America’s Got Talent”. Taylor has appeared on Good Morning Texas and is a member of the Dallas Cowboys’ Rhythm & Blue dancers for her second NFL season.

Anna Olvera was born and raised in Garland, TX and started dancing at the age of 5. She started dancing at Talent N' More Dance Studio where she was a part of the Jr. Competion team then later became a member of the Sr. Elite Competion Team and competed all over Texas. Anna attended Berkner High School and was a Lieutenant of the Berkner Bandoleara's Drill Team. As a Bandoleara, she participated in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York. After High school, Anna attended Kilgore College and was a member of the World Famous Kilgore College Rangerettes. Being a Rangerette, allowed her to perform again in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York, be part of President George W. Bush's Inaguration and perform at the Black Tie and Boots Ball in Washington, DC. and perform twice at the SBC Cotton Bowl.  At Kilgore, she was a staff member for Starmakers Dance and Performance Camps which allowed her to travel the states teaching her choreography. Anna is currently attending her last year at The University of North Texas, getting her BA in Dance. She also was a two year veteran as a Dallas Desperados Dancer, and is coming into her second season as a Dallas Cowboys Rhythm and Blue Dancer. Anna has peformed on NBC's America's Got Talent, appeared on Good Morning Texas, appeared in a Papa Johns commercial and has appeared with the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm and Blue Dancers all over Texas; Las Vegas; Albuquerque, NM; and annually at the Texas Motor Speedway. 

Brittany Evans has been dancing since the age of three and was a member of The Mississippi Metropolitan Ballet Company where she danced lead roles in many Ballets including The Nutcracker.

She was a senior Dancer in the Miss Mississippi Pageant under choreographer, Mallory Graham and was a Summer intern at Broadway Dance Center in New York City.

Brittany was a member of the Ole Miss Rebelette Dance Team for four years at the University of Mississippi.

She cheered in school from 7th- 12th grade and was Head Cheerleader her Senior Year. She also has the distinction of being a Tremaine Dance Scholarship Winner.

 

Brittany is currently in her third season as a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader where she was honored to be selected as a “second” group leader. She has performed with Daughtry; The Jonas Brothers; Prima J; Jesse James and danced in Cowboy Troy’s Music Video to “Cowboy Stomp”.

Brittany is a member of the elite DCC Show Group for a third year and has also been a Camp DCC Instructor and choreographer for three years.

As a DCC, Brittany has traveled on USO tours to Korea and on American Airlines Goodwill Tours to China and Japan.

Brittany has also performed in the Bahamas, Mexico, and all over the US.; she was selected as the DCC “Rookie of the Year” 2008-09; and She was a Dancer and character “Alice in Wonderland” on Disney’s Cruiseline “The Wonder” performing in nightly shows.

We are thrilled to bring Brittany Evans’ talent, experience and amazingly positive personality to Legacy Dance Center this year!


Meagan Sharp has been training in dance since the age of three. She has studied ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, clogging, and lyrical.  With ballet being her main focus, she attended summer intensives at Broadway Dance Center in New York City and at Texas Ballet Theater in Fort Worth, TX.  She was honored to dance in leading roles in Metropolitan Classical Ballet’s production of the “Nutcracker” under the direction of Paul Mejia and Alexander Vetrov. Shannon Beacham’s production of “Snow White” featured Meagan as the lead, and a member of the Winter Chorus in Paul Mejia’s “Four Seasons”.  Among her many accomplishments, she was a finalist in 2002 at the Youth America Grand Prix in New York City.

Currently, she is a four year veteran of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.  Meagan has been on two USO Holiday Tours:  one to Korea in 2008 and one to Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan in 2009.  She was also honored to be a part of the Spring 2009 American Airlines International Ambassador Tour, traveling to Okinawa and Tokyo, Japan as well as Shang-Hi, China. Meagan's experience coupled with her calm and encouraging demeanor has made her an instant favorite here at Legacy Dance Center!
