Legacy Dance Center
As a member of the nationally acclaimed MA Dance staff, Emily has taught and choreographed for college and high school dance teams throughout the United States. She has also been a member of the University of North Texas Dance Team. After three years as a member of the DDD, Emily continued to work closely with the organization as a professional choreographer for the Dancers and co-director of the Desperados’ co-ed, teen, hip-hop team the “Desperados Young Gunz” where she choreographed and managed the young dancers’ field routines and stage appearances. She continued to dance professionally with Chris and Candy Productions in National Tours with Body Art Ball and in Moulin Rouge.
She was part of the Dance and Kick Academy at HTE dance camps and was selected as an Outstanding Dancer and All-American Dancer at American Drill Team School dance camps. Taylor was cast as an opening performer at the Neiman Marcus Adolphus Christmas Parade. She has been the choreographer and college assistant for the Arlington ISD dance camp and has also taught dance camps at the Birdville ISD schools. Taylor’s choreography has also been seen on the Richland High School Dixie Belles officer line. She was chosen as a 2006-2007 Fort Worth Fly Girl Dancer for the National Basketball Developmental League and has made numerous appearances and performances throughout Dallas and Fort Worth to promote the team. Taylor was selected through a rigorous audition process to be a Dallas Desperados Dancer performing all season at American Airlines Center. As a Dallas Desperados Dancer, Taylor had the distinction of being the only rookie chosen to perform on the hit TV show “America’s Got Talent”. Taylor has appeared on Good Morning Texas and is a member of the Dallas Cowboys’ Rhythm & Blue dancers for her sthird NFL season. She was a senior Dancer in the Miss Mississippi Pageant under choreographer, Mallory Graham and was a Summer intern at Broadway Dance Center in New York City. Brittany was a member of the Ole Miss Rebelette Dance Team for four years at the University of Mississippi. She cheered in school from 7th- 12th grade and was Head Cheerleader her Senior Year. She also has the distinction of being a Tremaine Dance Scholarship Winner. Brittany is currently in her fourth season as a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader where she was honored to be selected as a “group leader and the DCC's ProBowl cheerleader. She has performed with Daughtry; The Jonas Brothers; Prima J; Jesse James and danced in Cowboy Troy’s Music Video to “Cowboy Stomp”. Brittany is a member of the elite DCC Show Group for a third year and has also been a Camp DCC Instructor and choreographer for three years. As a DCC, Brittany has traveled on USO tours to Korea and on American Airlines Goodwill Tours to China and Japan. Brittany has also performed in the Bahamas, Mexico, and all over the US.; she was selected as the DCC “Rookie of the Year” 2008-09; and She was a Dancer and character “Alice in Wonderland” on Disney’s Cruiseline “The Wonder” performing in nightly shows. We are thrilled to have Brittany Evans’ talent, experience and amazingly positive personality at Legacy Dance Center! Meagan cheered for four years as a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. She has been on several USO Holiday Tours: to Korea and Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan. She was also honored to be a part of the Spring 2009 American Airlines International Ambassador Tour, traveling to Okinawa and Tokyo, Japan as well as Shang-Hi, China. Meagan's experience coupled with her calm and encouraging demeanor has made her an instant favorite here at Legacy Dance Center!
Libbie Jagger Reed began her dance training as a toddler taking creative movement in Colorado Springs, CO. She later studied at the Fort Worth School of Ballet under Nanette Glushak and Michel Rahn. She was invited to study at prestigious ballet schools including New York City Ballet’s School of American Ballet (SAB) in NYC. She also studied at
Ms. Reed is a Cum-Laude graduate from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Ballet where she was selected by Artist-in-Residence Fernando Bujones, to perform as a soloist. While earning her degree she began her career as a dance instructor, award winning choreographer, and performing professionally for American Spirit Dancers throughout
After her graduation from TCU, Libbie cheered with the world famous Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and was invited as a Rookie to be a member of the elite Show Group performing at various national and international events including USO/DOD tours to Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, The Persian Gulf, Germany, and South Korea. She was also selected to teach young dancers and cheerleaders at the popular Camp DCC summer program.
After Cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, Libbie was selected for the New Jersey Nets NBA dance team. She also performed professionally in New York City with the New York Motion Entertainment Company.
Her television appearances include: MTV’s Sports Anthems Countdown, MTV’s The Low Down-NBA dancers, The Today Show, Extra!, Good Morning Texas, Good Day Dallas, ESPN’s Making of the Dallas Cowboys Swimsuit Calendar. Libbie has also been a featured performer with Ricky Martin, Randy Travis, Jay Leno and Willie Nelson. Her Industrial work includes: Bally’s Sports Clubs, Girbaud, Everlast Sportswear, Houlihan’s Restaurants, Brighton, Southwestern Bell, National Sporting Goods Association, Excel, Business Travelers Association, Southwest Airlines, L’Oreal Cosmetics, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Coca-Cola and Home Interiors.
Libbie and her husband Ashley reside in Frisco, TX with their two young children (one who is a 2nd year dancer with the LDC companies).
Emily Matkin Scoville began her training at age three and has been trained in tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop and drill team.
Emily has choreographed for the World Famous Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and has recently been featured in Carrie Underwood's music video for hit single "Cowboy Casanova", the 2010 CMA Video of the Year.
Emily was one of the original Dallas Desperados Dancers for the Dallas Cowboys’ Arena Football team where she rose to the top ranks quickly as both a team captain and choreographer. As a DDD, she performed at Ft. Hood’s largest celebrity concert celebrating the troops and their families. Emily had the very special opportunity to visit Sydney, Australia with five other Desperados Dancers upon the invitation of the AFL to perform and teach cheer and dance camps.
Emily currently directs and choreographs the very popular Dallas Vigilantes Dancers for the Arena Football League performing at the American Airlines Center.
Her easy-going style coupled with her sense of humor, talent and experience combine to make her a winning dance teacher for all ages. Emily directs the LDC MIni and Jr Hip Hop Crews. Emily and her husband are the proud parents of a brand new son!

Brittany Evans has been dancing since the age of three and was a member of The Mississippi Metropolitan Ballet Company where she danced lead roles in many Ballets including The Nutcracker.

Meagan Sharp has been training in dance since the age of three. She has studied ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, clogging, and lyrical. With ballet being her main focus, she attended summer intensives at Broadway Dance Center in New York City and at Texas Ballet Theater in Fort Worth, TX. She was honored to dance in leading roles in Metropolitan Classical Ballet’s production of the “Nutcracker” under the direction of Paul Mejia and Alexander Vetrov. Shannon Beacham’s production of “Snow White” featured Meagan as the lead, and a member of the Winter Chorus in Paul Mejia’s “Four Seasons”. Among her many accomplishments, she was a finalist in 2002 at the Youth America Grand Prix in New York City.
